Rest and Digest

Classes start Sunday July 16th @ 5pm Pacific

Every Sunday 5pm PT/8pm ET (July 16th - August 17th) via Zoom (only 7 weeks long)

Restorative is the MOST delicious type of yoga that resets our nervous system from the constant fight/flight mode to the restoring rest and digest mode, created by BKS Iyengar.

This is a slow and deeply therapeutic practice that some may find challenging due to being still and quiet for long periods of time. Poses are held between 5-12 mins using props like pillows and blankets to support our mind, body, spirit/soul which allows us to restore, let things be, and digest the chaos of our lives.

Most of this practice is done on the floor but can also be practiced while seated. Restorative is truly a practice for EVERYONE yet is not a one size fits all so I will provide lots of alternatives and modification to the entirety of the class. To respect students, individual modifications are only available upon request.

List of props with alternatives are provided below. If you would like to bring more pillows, blankets, please do! Get as cozy as you would like!!! Again, make this YOUR own. It is YOUR practice.

Class is open to all levels of students (new to advanced and everything in-between) as well as all abilities. Zoom calls will have the option for live close captions.
