Sheppard’s talents are as diverse, unique and strong as Sheppard herself.  Born and raised in Nebraska, Sheppard longed for city life. She's lived in New York City, Brooklyn, Miami, Los Angeles, Jamaica and many other diverse places.  She's a self taught and award winning metalsmith/jeweler who's raw, organic yet primitive works (that incorporates PVC Pipe, leather, rusted metal and other materials) has caught the worlds eye.  She has exhibited nationally and worldwide at galleries such as Ted Casablanca’s in Palm Springs, CA and at A CASA Museum of Brazilian Object in San Paulo Brazil.  Her jewelry has also been featured in American Craft Magazine, Art Jewelry Magazine, Behind the Brooch Book, Crafthaus and more.

Making her mark in the Rock n Roll industry, Sheppard has worked with famed headdress maker Miss G and jeweler Michael Schmidt Studios. In 2016, two of her collaborative works, one with powder coating jeweler Michael Dale Bernard and the other with international jeweler Sofia Bjorkman, were on exhibition at Brooklyn Metal Works and Baltimore Jewelry Center. For the past 3 years Sheppard has been a freelance writer with Art Jewelry Magazine and is currently writing her first jewelry instructional book with Kalmbach Publishing, which is slated for national release in 2017.

While living in LA, Sheppard was trained in the art of classic cocktails with the prestigious pre-prohibition master Julian Cox while working at top restaurant Bestia (winner of 2015 Food & Wine’s top 10 Best Chefs Award). Sheppard has also coached with Professional Downhill Mountain Biker Kat Sweet and with Professional Cyclist/Adventurer Racer Rebecca Rusch’s Wheel Girls Camp. Sheppard has her Level 1 IMBA ICP Certified and has been featured on Girl Eat Bikes Joyride Podcast series along with Josie’s Bike Life. She has also competed (placed) in top national races, fundraised and road in 2015 AIDS Lifecycle and has become a strong voice for women in the biking world.

Sheppard has taken on her biggest adventure to date.  “Case of the Nomads” is a community connecting project where Sheppard travels across the US in search of rare, interesting, strong art and bike areas. Through curiosity and a talent to connect with strangers Sheppard is able to see into the heart of others, which allows her to witness the inner workings of community. She then captivates her vast followers through her informative yet corky blog, furthering her connection with others. Sheppard lectures professionally about her travels, art and life to universities, art centers, high schools and clubs across the US, inspiring the next generation. She is also a brand ambassador for like-minded companies Biolite, Big Agnes and Zuke’s. Currently Sheppard continues the simple life of travel in her portable home/studio Jones….Full of Grace, a converted ford transit connect mini cargo van.  She travels with her metalsmithing studio, India the Adventure Dog and mountain bike, Skidmark.
